How to Caramelize Onions

This is an extremely simple technique for caramelizing onions.

  1. Peel the onions and slice thinly
  2. Add a little olive oil to a cast iron skillet and heat over medium/low heat
  3. Add sliced onions and fry for around 30-45 minutes, stirring regularly until done

Add sliced onions to a skillet with a little olive oil

Slow cooking the onions

After around 30-45 minutes, the onions will be sweet and crispy
