Low Carb Beef and Cheese Burrito Recipe

This is another of my low carb recipes for which I use “La Tortilla” Whole Wheat low carb tortillas from Amazon. They sell a range of different tortilla wraps and several flavors are usually available – whole wheat and green onion are my favorites. For these low carb burritos, I like using the whole wheat flavor, which are high fiber, low carb. The low carb tortillas have only five net carbs each, and they’re soft and tasty.

Holle’s Low Carb Beef and Cheese Burritos

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound lean ground chuck
  • Garlic salt, to taste
  • Dried oregano, to taste
  • Onion powder, to taste
  • Chipotle powder, to taste
  • 1 small can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (I like to use cheddar for this.)
  • 8 low carb tortillas
  • Sour cream

Directions: Brown ground beef and drain off fat. Add seasonings, crushed tomatoes, and cheese. Cook over low heat until cheese has melted.

Divide beef mixture among the tortillas. Top with sour cream. Fold in bottom of tortilla and roll up sides. Top with more cheese, if desired.
