Quick and easy low carb recipe
I make low carb recipes on a regular basis, and I have low carb wraps several times a week for lunch. Of course, for sandwich wraps, most people use soft tortillas. The problem is that a traditional tortilla is high in carbs. That’s why I use La Tortilla Factory low carb tortillas. Each one has only 3 grams of net carbs! I’ve even served them to hubby, and he never knew he was eating a low carb tortilla!
Below is the recipe for a turkey wrap, but you can add your own favorite ingredients to your low carb sandwich wraps – ham, roast beef, chicken, salami, corned beef, sliced cheese, onions, peppers, or thinly sliced tomatoes.
Holle’s Low Carb Turkey Wraps recipe
What you’ll need:
- 4 ounces soft cream cheese
- 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
- 1 teaspoon mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Splenda
- 2 tablespoons diced pimento
- 3 La Tortilla Factory low carb tortillas
- Fresh spinach leaves
- 6 slices sandwich turkey
Directions: Place cream cheese in a microwave-safe bowl. Soften in microwave for a few seconds. Stir in mustard, mayo, Splenda, and pimento.
Divide mixture among three tortillas. Spread with spinach leaves.
In the center of each tortilla, place 2 slices turkey, one on top of the other, roll up tortilla and refrigerate until cream cheese is firm.
