Mexican recipes are always popular in the south, we just like to add a little something to them.

Step 1: Add the oil to a large sauce pan and heat it over a medium heat. Add in the green peppers and onions, and saute until they are soft. Now add in your ground beef and cook it, stirring until the meat has browned. Crush the bouillon cubes and mix in the red wine, cooking for a few more minutes. Add in the tomatoes, tomato paste and garlic, paprika, chili powder, herbs and cayenne pepper. Lightly season with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 2: Increase the heat to high and bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover the pan and allow it to simmer for 90 minutes, while stirring every so often to ensure the flavors evenly distribute across the sauce and meat.

Step 3: Now add in your Tabasco sauce and kidney beans, tomato juice, and a slight amount of water if the mixture is too thick for your taste. Allow it to continue simmering for another 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 4: Whisk together the flour, water, and corn meal until it is evenly mixed together in another bowl. Add the mixture into your chili and allow the chili to cook for another 10 minutes or until it has thickened up substantially.
