Tilapia is a lean, mild tasting fish that’s great in a variety of fish recipes. The following is one of my low carb recipes for frying. You don’t have to sacrifice taste and texture with healthy low carb diets! You’ll get lots of buttery crunchiness with this recipe, plus lots of healthy fiber and protein. Thinner fillets will work much better with this recipe than will thicker fillets.

If you like the taste and texture of crunchy fried fish but you’re sticking with low carb recipes, you can have both – at the same time! All you need to do is to tweak the way you think about batter and breading. Instead of high-carb white flour with your fish recipes, use soy flour. I use this all the time with low carb diets, and I’ve had excellent results. My favorite is Hodgson’s Mill soy flour. It seems to have the best taste and texture, from my cooking experiences.

Homemade quesadillas are yummy, and they’re quick and easy to make. You fill them with shredded cheese and add chicken, beef, shrimp, onions, pepper, mushrooms, or anything else you fancy. You’ll also need to sprinkle on some of your favorite seasonings, like garlic salt, chili powder, onion powder, and/or salsa.

This delicious low carb recipe is great on a hot summer day. The key ingredient is Torani sugar-free raspberry syrup. I use this stuff all the time with my low carb dessert recipes, and I use Torani’s other flavors of low carb syrups, too. Torani raspberry syrup has ZERO calories!

This is another of my low carb recipes for which I use “La Tortilla” Whole Wheat low carb tortillas from Amazon. They sell a range of different tortilla wraps and several flavors are usually available – whole wheat and green onion are my favorites. For these low carb burritos, I like using the whole wheat flavor, which are high fiber, low carb. The low carb tortillas have only five net carbs each, and they’re soft and tasty.

Low carb pizza? Yes, it’s entirely possible to enjoy delicious pizza on low carb diets. In my experiments with low carb recipes, I came up with this one. Now I can enjoy gooey cheese and spicy pepperoni while the rest of the family is happily munching away on their traditional delivery pizza!
