When you’re carving your Halloween pumpkins this year, don’t throw away the seeds! Toasted pumpkin seeds are delicious, and they make great Halloween snacks for Halloween parties. . After scooping the seeds out of the pumpkin, toss them in a large pot of cool water and stir. This will help separate the seeds from the stringy pumpkin pulp. Spread the seeds on several layers of paper towels and allow them to dry for about 24 hours before toasting.

What you’ll need:
- 2 cups dried pumpkin seeds
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon garlic salt
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Directions: Place pumpkin seeds in a bowl and drizzle with oil and butter. Toss until all the seeds are lightly coated.
Spread seeds in a single layer on a foil-lined baking sheet. Sprinkle with seasonings.
Bake for an hour at 250 degrees, stirring occasionally.
